At LegalPro+., (“us”, “we”, “our” or “LegalPro+”), accessible from https://legalproteam.com,  we value he privacy of our online visitors and the importance of safeguarding their data. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, the safeguards we implement to protect it, and the choices available to you regarding our collection and use of your information.

Scope & Consent
This Privacy Policy applies solely to our online activities through the Legal Pro+ website (the "Site"). It governs the information collected from visitors to the Site but does not apply to information collected by any other means, such as offline activities, telephone inquiries, or third-party websites. By using our Site, you consent to this Privacy Policy and our data practices outlined herein.

Information Collection
LegalPro+ takes your privacy seriously and is mindful of potential concerns about how we use the personal information we collect from and about you.  In addition to this Privacy Policy, we have internal policies and practices designed to keep your personal information secure and to ensure that information about you is only used consistent with this Privacy Policy.  We apply principles of Privacy-by-Design and have privacy and security teams that are committed to ensuring that your personal information is safe and handled properly. We may collect various types of information from you through your use of the Site, as outlined below:

Personal Information
When we use the term “personal data” in this Privacy Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. It does not include aggregated or de-identified information that is maintained in a form that is not capable of being associated with or reasonably linked to an individual. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, address, and other contact details when you register for an account, submit a form, or communicate with us directly.

Usage Information
This Privacy Policy describes how LegalPro LLC. uses personal information in connection with goods and services sold by LegalPro+, our apps, and the use of the LegalPro+ website unless otherwise listed below. We automatically collect certain information about your use of the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and clickstream data. We may also collect information about your computer or mobile device, including its unique device identifier.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies 
We and our third-party partners may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of the Site and to deliver customized content and advertising. In addition to the tools provided by LegalPro+, you may also use tools provided by the Networking Advertising Initiative, the Digital Advertising Alliance, and Google Analytics’ Ad Settings to control how these types of Cookies are used when you are on the internet, even when you are not on LegalPro+’s website..You can control the use of cookies through your browser settings.

Third-Party Data Sources
We may also obtain personal information about you from third-party sources, such as data brokers or public databases, to supplement the information we collect directly from you.

Use of Information
We may use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services
  • To personalize and tailor your experience on the Site
  • To communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries and sending updates and promotional materials

  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you have explicitly consented to such sharing.
  • Anonymized and Aggregated Data: We may share anonymized or aggregated data with third parties for analytics, research, or other purposes.

Data Security

LegalPro+ is committed to protecting the personal information that we collect and ensuring our products and services are provided in a secure manner. We have implemented security measures designed to protect the personal information that we maintain. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please be advised that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We also regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. Regardless of the measures and efforts that LegalPro+ takes to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute protection and security of your personal information. For instance, when we transmit documents to you via mail delivery services or electronically, there remains the possibility that this information may be misdirected, mis-delivered, or intercepted.

We encourage you to take precautions in protecting the information that you share with LegalPro+. For example, we encourage you to set strong passwords on your account and avoid sharing your password with anyone. Where available, we encourage, and may at times require, you to utilize multi-factor authentication to further ensure access to your account is restricted. If you believe that you have discovered a security vulnerability in our website or services, you may let us know at by contacting our security team. If you believe that someone has accessed your personal information or that your personal information has been misused, please let us know immediately by submitting your concerns through our online Privacy Form.  

Data Retention
We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. After such time, we will securely delete or anonymize your information in accordance with our data retention policies.

International Data Transfers
Please note that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We will take appropriate measures to ensure that your data remains protected and secure when transferred internationally.

Selling, Sharing, and Use of Personal Information for Targeted Advertising

LegalPro+ does not currently sell personal information to third parties. If in the future LegalPro+ does decide to sell personal information, any personal information collected prior to our update of this Privacy Policy will be excluded from such sale unless you otherwise consent to that additional use of the data.

LegalPro+ does engage in online marketing activities, including activities that may involve us sharing your information for purposes of showing you targeted advertising. If you would like to opt-out of the use of your personal information for these purposes, you can submit this request through the link at the bottom of our homepage called “Your privacy choices.”

Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or object to the use of your data. You may also have the right to data portability. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Information" section.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia Residents' Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to request disclosure, deletion, and opt-out of the sale of their personal information.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, or Virginia, you have certain rights regarding your personal information. This includes the right to request:

  • Specific information about what information LegalPro+ has collected about you,
  • A copy of your personal information,
  • Corrections to inaccuracies in the personal information LegalPro+ maintains about you, and
  • The deletion of your personal information.

These rights are not absolute, and in some circumstances, LegalPro+ may decline to satisfy your request. For example, if we are unable to verify your identity or if your request impacts other people’s privacy rights, we may deny your request to exercise these rights. We may also deny your request when LegalPro+ has the legal right to do so, such as when we have an ongoing business relationship with you, an ongoing need to use the information for purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or we are legally required to retain your personal information. If LegalPro+ denies your request to exercise your privacy rights, we will tell you why we are denying the request and provide you with information about how to appeal this decision.

If you choose to exercise your privacy rights, we will not charge you different prices or provide a different quality of services unless those differences are related to your personal information.

How to Submit a Request for Access, Correction, or Deletion of Personal Information: If you would like to submit a request about your personal information, we encourage you to do so by completing the Privacy form. You can also submit a request by emailing and/or by calling our toll-free number. After you submit the request, you will be asked to verify your email address and may also be asked to provide additional information to verify your identity. LegalPro+ will attempt to verify your identity by asking for information that correlates with the information that we have previously collected about you.  If this is not possible, LegalPro+ may request you submit additional information for verification, such as proof of residency or redacted government-issued identification.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To designate an authorized agent, you must provide LegalPro+ with written permission for the agent to make the request on your behalf or provide us with an executed power of attorney. You will also be required to submit both your and the authorized agent’s valid government-issued identification.

How to Appeal a Denial of a Request for Access, Correction, or Deletion of Personal Information: If LegalPro+ denies your request about your personal information, you may submit an appeal of the decision by completing the privacy form. After you submit the request, you will be asked to verify your email address. Once an appeal is submitted and your email is verified, the request and LegalPro+’s response will be reviewed. In connection with this review, LegalPro+ may request that you submit additional information regarding your request. We will notify you of the outcome of the appeal within 60 days.

GDPR Data Protection Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have various data protection rights.

Children's Data
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 18. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions. If you believe we have collected personal information from your child, please contact us, and we will promptly delete it.

Do Not Track Signals
At this time, we do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals due to a lack of standardized implementation across the industry.

Third-Party Links and Services
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Legal Pro+. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing them with any personal information.

Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review it periodically for the latest information on our privacy practices.

Consent and Acknowledgment
By using our Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please refrain from using our Site.

LegalPro+ does not check user uploaded/created content for violations of Client's rights. However, if you believe any Service Provider violated your Booking agreement, you should follow the process below. LegalPro+ looks into reported violations and removes or disables content shown to be violating third-party rights.

In order to allow us to review your report promptly and effectively, a Booking infringement notice should include the following:

  • Identification of your Booking service for which you claim violation of your right(s).
  • A short description of how our user(s) allegedly infringe(s) your right(s).
  • Clear reference to the materials you allege are infringing and which you are requesting to be reviewed by our Complaint representative.
  • Your complete name, address, email address, telephone number, and/or ID number.
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided in the notice is accurate and that you are the Client User authorized to make the complaint.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Accessibility using LegalPro+

Our technology and the service provided by Service Providers have transformed online mobility for many people with disabilities, and we’re committed to continuing to develop technologies that support everyone’s ability to easily navigate our platform and book our services.

Resources for Users with Disabilities

If you or an individual (i) is disabled within the meaning of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and (ii) the disability impacts your LegalPro+ service within the allotted time of the service booked, and have experienced an issue related to accessibility, you can request a waiver of extra time fees for your account below by making the following certification. Please allow at least 30 days for the waiver to take effect.

Certification of Disability

When reserving a consultation session and/or submitting a booking, any Client User can voluntarily add a note and certify and acknowledge that:

They are (i) disabled within the meaning of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and (ii) the disability impacts their ability to use the allotted time provided by the legal service booked. As a Client User, they understand that this request is subject to verification and/or audit by LegalPro+. They further understand that LegalPro+ will use their certification for no other purpose than to waive wait time fees for their account. Client Users also understand that LegalPro+ will not assume any additional duties or obligations in connection with this information or Client User's certification.

Users who self-certified for additional services or a wait time fee waiver can review the services below for additional information.

I want to report a service denial due to discrimination

LegalPro+ expects Service Providers to comply with all state, federal, and local laws when it comes to providing services. According to the LegalPro+ Guidelines, discrimination of any kind is not tolerated from Client Users or Service Providers.

This includes refusing a Booking based on characteristics protected under federal law. These characteristics include, but are not limited to:

  • Race
  • Color
  • Religion
  • National Origin
  • Age (40 and over)
  • Gender
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Gender Presentation
  • Pregnancy
  • Citizenship
  • Disability

LegalPro+ has a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind. This means Service Providers will lose account access if they are found to have refused service to Client Users based on any of the above characteristics.

If you were denied service due to a federally protected trait, please let us know here.

Any LegalPro+ User found to have violated this standard will lose access to the LegalPro+ app.

Users Accessibility Compliance Notification

LegalPro+ Users must comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws governing online services for users with disabilities.

A User's violation of the laws governing the accommodation of other LegalPro+ Users with disabilities constitutes a breach of the Technology Services Agreement. Accordingly, Service Providers are expected to accommodate Client Users to the maximum extent feasible. Any report of unlawful discrimination will result in the temporary deactivation of a Service Provider's account while LegalPro+ reviews the incident.

Confirmed violations of the law with respect to Client Users with disabilities may result in permanent loss of a Service Provider's access to the LegalPro+ app.
