Step 1

A Client User opens the app

The Client User clicks on the  ……. box; reviews each service option for the type of service, price, and estimated delivery time; chooses the desired Booking option; then confirms the service.

Step 2

The Client User is matched with a Service Provider

A Service Provider sees and chooses to accept the Client User's Booking. The Client User is automatically notified when the Service Provider accepts their booking right away.

Step 3

The Service Provider messages the Client User 

 Both Service Providers and Client Users verify each other’s names and the service booked. Then the service process and delivery starts.

The Service Provider updates Client Users about their booking 

The app gives the driver the option to view and track their booking in real time about.

Step 5

The Service Provider and Client User leave ratings and reviews

At the end of each Service, The Service Provider submits a summary of what service they provided to the Client User. Both Service Providers and Client Users can rate each other from 1 to 5 stars. Client Users also have the option to give the Service Providers compliments and a tip directly in the app.

Paying with cash

LegalPro+ is designed to be an entirely cashless experience in most cities.

When a service is processed, the payment method selected for your Booking is immediately charged. A receipt is emailed to you, and your account’s booking history is updated with details about the services provided.

A tip is not included in the service and tipping is not required on LegalPro+ platform. However, you are welcome to do so in any online cashless form, through the app or from your emailed service receipt, where available.Updating a payment method on your account

Adding and selecting a preferred payment method will allow you to request a Booking. You can add payment methods including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, digital wallets and LegalPro+ gift cards. When a booking is complete, your selected payment method is charged.

When requesting a service, use your app to check that your preferred payment method is selected. Swipe up from the bottom of the app and tap your desired payment method before the trip ends.

Paying with Google Pay

Client Users with Smart devices can use Google Pay as a payment method to sign up and pay for LegalPro+ services.

To add Google Pay as a payment method:

  1. Select “Account” > “Wallet” > “Add payment method.”
  2. Tap “Google Pay” and then “Continue.”
  3. Follow the prompts in your app.

To remove Google Pay:

  1. Select “Account” > “Wallet” > “Google Pay.”
  2. Tap “Remove payment method” and then “Delete.”

 

Paying with PayPal

Client Users can follow these steps to add PayPal as an account payment method:

1. Open the menu from the LegalPro+ app
2. Select "Wallet."
3. Tap "Add Payment."
4. Choose "PayPal."
5. Enter your email or phone number for your PayPal account.

Also, you can add PayPal to your account through the website by signing in to your account & choosing payment method, Add payment method then choose Paypal.

If you don't see PayPal listed as a payment option, this may be because your device's region or country code is not set to one of LegalPro's PayPal enabled countries.

Paying with Apple Pay

If you set up Apple Pay on your iOS device and add a credit card or cash balance, you can pay for legal services with Apple Pay.

To confirm Apple Pay has been added to your LegalPro+ account:

  1. Open your LegalPro+ app menu and tap “Wallet.”
  2. Under “Payment Methods” you’ll see the Apple Pay logo.

If you don’t see the Apple Pay logo, make sure you’ve enabled Apple Pay Cash or added a valid credit or debit card to your Apple Pay account.

How to set up Apple Pay

How to pay for a LegalPro+ service with Apple Pay:

Enter your service location address in “Select your city” located on the “Home Page”

  1. Select your legal service option, then tap the default payment method selected.
  2. Choose the payment method you wish to use, then tap “X”.
  3. Tap “Confirm” and follow the on-screen instructions to finish your request.

Paying with Venmo

Client Users and customers with Venmo installed on their device can now use Venmo to pay for their legal services. If you don’t already have Venmo, sign up.

How to add Venmo as a payment method in the LegalPro+ app:

  1. Select “Wallet” in the menu in your LegalPro+ app.
  2. Tap “Add Payment Method”.
  3. Tap “Venmo”.
  4. Log in to your Venmo account and tap “Authorize”.

Note: To remove Venmo, follow the instructions above, then tap “Delete.”

Venmo is only available on LegalPro+ in the US. If you’re in the US and don’t see the option to add Venmo as a payment method, make sure you’re using the latest version of the LegalPro+ app

Pay with a Bank Account Using Link (By Stripe)

We’re currently testing a feature that allows Client users to pay for their LegalPro+ services directly from their bank account.

HOW TO ADD YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

To check if you’re eligible to add your bank account as a payment method, please follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Account tab in the bottom right corner of your app.
  2. Choose Wallet.
  3. Under your listed payment methods, select Add Payment Method.
  4. From here, choose Bank Account.
  5. Log into your bank through our secure connection to link your account.

To confirm your account has been added, go to the “Payments” tab from the in-app menu. You should see your account listed under “Payment Methods.”

CAN I ADD MULTIPLE BANK ACCOUNTS?

Only one bank account can be added as a payment method. In order to add a different account, you’ll need to remove any existing account that’s linked.

HOW DO I DELETE A BANK ACCOUNT I HAVE ADDED?

To remove a payment method:

  1. Tap the menu in the upper left-hand corner.
  2. Select Payment.
  3. Choose the payment method you want to remove.
  4. Tap the options icon in the upper right corner and then select Delete.

PAYMENT PROCESSING TIME

Depending on your bank, it may be 5-7 days after your LegalPro+ service takes place for the amount to complete bank processing. You will receive a receipt in your email once this payment amount settles.

 

To add Google Pay as a payment method:

  1. Select “Account” > “Wallet” > “Add payment method.”
  2. Tap “Google Pay” and then “Continue.”
  3. Follow the prompts in your app.

To remove Google Pay:

  1. Select “Account” > “Wallet” > “Google Pay.”
  2. Tap “Remove payment method” and then “Delete.”

Add a payment method

  1. Select “Wallet” from your app menu.
  2. Tap “Add Payment Method”.
  3. Add a payment method by manually entering the card info, scanning a card, or adding an alternative payment type.

Scan a credit or debit card

  1. To scan a card, tap the camera icon. Your phone may ask permission for the LegalPro+ app to use the camera.
  2. Center your card in your phone’s screen so that all 4 corners flash green. Cards with embossed letters and numbers are typically easiest to scan.
  3. Enter the card’s expiration date, CVV number, and billing ZIP or postal code.
  4. Tap “Save”.

Manually add a credit or debit card

  1. Enter your card number.
  2. Enter the expiration date, CVV number, and billing ZIP or postal code.
  3. Tap “Save”.

Update card info

You can edit a debit or credit card’s expiration date, CCV number, and billing zip or postal code. If you have an LegalPro+ for Business profile, you can also change the profile your card is associated with by selecting Settings from your menu. Select Profiles to get started.

  1. Select “Payment” from your app menu.
  2. Select the payment option you’d like to update.
  3. Tap the three dot icon, then tap “Edit”.
     
  4. Make changes, then tap “Save” when you’re done.

While a debit or credit card number can’t be edited, a card can be removed from your account and then added again as a new payment method.

Delete a payment method

Your account must have at least one payment method at all times. If you wish to delete your only payment method, you’ll need to add a new one first.

  1. Select “Payment” from your menu.
  2. Select the card you’d like to delete.
  3. Tap the three dot icon in the upper-right corner.
  4. Tap “Delete”, then confirm.

Accessibility using LegalPro+

Our technology and the transportation provided by Service Providers has transformed the online mobility for many people with disabilities, and we’re committed to continuing to develop technologies that support everyone’s ability to easily navigate our platform and booking our services.

 

Resources for Users with disabilities

If you, or an individual is (i) disabled within the meaning of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and (ii) the disability impacts your LegalPro+ service within the allotted time of the service booked, have experienced an issue related to accessibility, you can request a waiver of extra time fees for your account below by making the following certification. Please allow at least 7 days for the waiver to take effect.

Report any other service related issue by selecting the specific booking  from the "Your Bookings" section of the menu. From the resulting screen, you can choose from a variety of options to report an issue.

I want to report a service denial due to discrimination

LegalPro+ expects Service Providers to comply with all state, federal, and local laws when it comes to providing services. According to the LegalPro+ Community Guidelines, discrimination of any kind is not tolerated from Client Users or Service Providers.

This includes refusing a Booking based on characteristics protected under federal law. These characteristics include, but are not limited to:

  • Race
  • Color
  • Religion
  • National Origin
  • Age (40 and over)
  • Gender
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Gender Presentation
  • Pregnancy
  • Citizenship
  • Disability

LegalPro+ has a zero tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind. This means Service Providers will lose account access if they are found to have refused service to Client Users based on any of the above characteristics.

If you were denied service due to federally protected trait, please let us know here.

Any User found to have violated this standard will lose access to the LegalPro+ app.

Users accessibility compliance notification

LegalPro+ Users must comply with all applicable state, federal and local laws governing the online services to users with disabilities.

  • A User's violation of the laws governing the accommodation of other LegalPro+ Users with disabilities constitutes a breach of the Technology Services Agreement.
  • Accordingly, Service Providers are expected to accommodate Client Users to the maximum extent feasible.
  • Any report of unlawful discrimination will result in the temporary deactivation of a Service Provider's account while LegalPro+ reviews the incident.
    • Confirmed violations of the law with respect to Client Users with disabilities may result in permanent loss of a Service Provider's access to the LegalPro+ app.

 

LegalPro+ does not check user uploaded/created content for violations of Client's rights. However, if you believe any Service Provider violated your Booking agreement, you should follow the process below. LegalPro+ looks into reported violations and removes or disables content shown to be violating third party rights.

In order to allow us to review your report promptly and effectively, a Booking infringement notice should include the following:

  • Identification of your Booking service for which you claim violation of your right(s)
  • A short description of how our user(s) allegedly infringe(s) your right(s)
  • Clear reference to the materials you allege are infringing and which you are requesting to be reviewed by our Complaint representative.
  • Your complete name, address, email address, telephone number, and/or ID number.
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided in the notice is accurate and that you are the Client User authorized to make the complaint.

At LegalPro+., (“us”, “we”, “our” or “LegalPro+”) we value your privacy and the importance of safeguarding your data. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes our privacy practices for the activities set out below. As per your rights, we inform you how we collect, store, access, and otherwise process information relating to individuals. In this Policy, "Personal Data" refers to any information that on its own, or in combination with other available information, can distinguish an individual. 

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy does not apply to third-party Websites, Websites, products, services or platforms that may be accessed through links that we may provide to you. 

These sites are owned and operated independently from us, and they have their own separate privacy and data collection practices. 

Any personal data that you provide to these Websites will be governed by the third party's own privacy policy. We cannot accept liability for the actions or policies of these independent sites, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such sites. 

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible through our websites and Apps, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Article 1: What is Personal Data?

When we use the term “personal data” in this Privacy Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. It does not include aggregated or de-identified information that is maintained in a form that is not capable of being associated with or reasonably linked to an individual.

Article 2: What This Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy describes how LegalPro LLC. uses personal information in connection with goods and services sold by LegalPro+, our apps, and the use of the LegalPro+ website unless otherwise listed below.

Activities not covered by this Privacy Policy are:

  • Personal information used with LegalPro+’s Identity Protection and Business Data Protection services. These services are governed by the Experian Privacy Policy, as described at the time of activation of services.
  • Personal information that may be collected or used by other businesses when you click on third-party links found on our website or use social media widgets that we provide. You can refer to the privacy policy of third-party websites and services for information about their privacy practices.
  • Personal information collected and used in connection with LegalPro+’s employment activities, including activities related to job applicants.

Article 3: LegalPro+’s Approach to Privacy

LegalPro+ takes your privacy seriously and is mindful of potential concerns about how we use the personal information we collect from and about you.  In addition to this Privacy Policy, we have internal policies and practices designed to keep your personal information secure and to ensure that information about you is only used consistent with this Privacy Policy.  We apply principles of Privacy-by-Design and have privacy and security teams that are committed to ensuring that your personal information is safe and handled properly.

 

Article 4: The Personal Information We Collect

In this section of the Privacy Policy, we explain the types of personal information we may collect. The specific information that we may collect about you depends on the type of interaction and the types of products considered or purchased.

 

LegalPro+ potentially collects the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: Examples of the types of identifiers that LegalPro+ may collect include real names, nicknames, signatures, postal addresses, online identifiers, Internet Protocol addresses, email addresses, and account numbers.
  • Sensitive Information: Examples of the types of sensitive information that LegalPro+ may collect includes social security, driver’s license, state identification card, and passport numbers, and usernames and passwords for accounts connected to LegalPro+.
  • Biometric information: With your consent, LegalPro+ may work with Stripe to use technology to verify your identity by comparing a digital image of your face to the picture on the government identification you provide.
  • Characteristics protected under some laws: Examples of the types of characteristics that LegalPro+ may collect include age, national origin, citizenship, marital status, medical information, sex, and veteran or military status.  LegalPro+ does not use this type of information to analyze your health, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
  • Commercial information: Examples of the types of commercial information that LegalPro+ may collect includes records of business and other property owned, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered from LegalPro+ or our partners, and other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  • Internet information: Examples of the types of internet activity information that LegalPro+ may collect includes browsing history, search history, information about the device used to access our website or applications, and information regarding your interaction with websites, applications, or advertisements.
  • We may also collect information from visitors to our website, such as browser settings, operating systems, referring/exit pages, and clickstream data. When we send you an email, LegalPro+ may also collect information, including about how you interact with that email.
  • Geolocation information: LegalPro+ may collect information about where a consumer resides or is otherwise located
  • Audio and visual information: LegalPro+ may make audio recordings of telephone calls. We may make visual recordings if you agree that we may videotape or photograph you. We may also collect visual images of you in connection with legal requirements, security purposes, or when required for providing certain products.
  • Professional and employment-related information: Examples of the types of professional and employment-related information LegalPro+ may collect includes information about professional status and affiliations, employment history, salary, and employment status.
  • Other types of information: Examples of other types of information include physical characteristics or descriptions of you, telephone number, insurance policy number, financial information including bank account, credit card, and debit card numbers, and health insurance information. It also includes additional information provided to LegalPro+ directly by you, such as when you complete a questionnaire, upload a document, answer a survey, or receive a financial consultation. This category includes information identified as personal information in California Civil Code Section 1798.80(e) that is not otherwise categorized above.

 

Article 5: Where We Collect Personal Information

In this section of the Privacy Policy, we explain where and how we collect personal information.

Customers: Much of the personal information that LegalPro+ collects comes directly or indirectly from our customers and prospective customers. Information that is collected directly from you is information that you provide when you complete a form online, upload a document, use a chat feature, or speak to us on the phone. We may also collect information indirectly about you when you interact with our website and or App platforms, using cookies and other tracking technologies.

 

  • Related Parties: We may collect information about you from someone you know. For instance, if you are a shareholder in a business that is formed through LegalPro+, we may be given information about you by that business to complete the formation. We may also receive information about you from customers using our products to send communications to you, such as our e-signature product.
  • Service Providers: We may collect information about you from our Service Providers or other companies that we work with to deliver products to you.  As used in this Privacy Policy, Service Providers means entities that LegalPro+ has contracted with to provide us with services to help fulfill our business needs. An example of the type of information that we may receive from a Service Provider is information about whether any Legal Mail has been received as part of our Registered Agent services. Service Providers may also assist us in collecting information both directly and indirectly from you.
  • Professionals (including Attorneys, Notaries, Accountants, Translators, Paralegals, and relevant Experts): We may receive information about you from the Service Providers you work with through our Legal Platform or other service offerings. LegalPro+ does not intend to collect any information from attorneys where the collection would result in a waiver of the attorney-client privilege.
  • Business Partners: We may receive information about you from our Business Partners. As used in this Privacy Policy, Business Partners means entities that LegalPro+ has contracted with to engage in cross-promotional or product integration activities. An example of the type of information that we may receive from our business partners is information about the products you purchased from them.
  • Affiliates and Subsidiaries: We may receive information about you from our affiliates and subsidiaries. For example, if we acquire an ownership interest in a company, we may receive information about you as part of that acquisition if you have previously done business with them.
  • Publicly/Commercially Available Information: We may collect information about you from publicly available sources of information, including government records, social media sites, and other commercially available sources of personal information.  Examples of the type of information we may collect from publicly available sources are whether your entity is in good standing with a Secretary of State or whether you have recently expressed interest in purchasing a product that LegalPro+ sells.
  • Unrelated Parties: We may receive information related to you from people and entities with whom LegalPro+ does not have a direct relationship. An example of the type of information that we may receive from unrelated third parties are documents that we receive on your behalf in our role as your Registered Agent.

 

Article 6: How We Use the Personal Information We Collect

In this section of the Privacy Policy, we explain our commercial and business purposes for collecting information. LegalPro+ uses the information that it collects for the purposes listed below. We use technology, including automated processing and human review to accomplish these purposes. We may also combine information that we have collected from multiple sources.

 

  • If we decide to use the personal information we have collected for additional purposes that are inconsistent with what is described below, we will let you know of our plans and give you information about your legal rights regarding your personal information.
  • Providing Products and Services: We use personal information to provide and support our products and services. Examples of these uses include producing and delivering documents purchased by customers, administering the LegalPro+ website, and displaying content based on customer preferences.
  • Security: We use personal information to ensure we maintain appropriate security over computer networks and our physical facilities, as well as detecting fraud or other suspicious activities.
  • Marketing and Advertising: We use personal information for marketing to current and prospective customers. More information about how you can control the use of your personal information for marketing purposes can be found in the sections “LegalPro+’s Use of Cookies and Similar Technology, and Your Choices” and “Your Options Regarding Personal Information Collected by LegalPro+.”
  • Product Development: We use personal information for product development, including improving our existing offerings and developing new products and services, including machine learning or Artificial Intelligence ("AI") technologies.
  • Analytics: We use personal information for various types of analytics. For example, LegalPro+ uses personal information to analyze how visitors arrive at and interact with our website, and to gain insight into the types of customers that may be interested in our products and services. We may also use the information to develop inferences from the information we collect regarding customer preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behaviors, and attitudes.
  • Operational Purposes: We use personal information for operational purposes, and the operational purposes of our service providers, business partners, affiliates, and subsidiaries. For instance, LegalPro+ may use the information to maintain our website and other infrastructure, training, quality assurance, for conducting surveys or sweepstakes, to promote our brand, and to use in connection with our relationships with service providers and business partners.
  • Financial Reporting: We use personal information in connection with various types of financial reporting and other similar internal uses. Examples of the types of financial reporting that LegalPro+ may use personal information includes internal budgets and projections, compensation calculations, and public reporting.
  • Meeting Legal Requirements: We use personal information to meet our legal obligations, such as performing customer due diligence, maintaining records as required in our role as a Registered Agent, or responding to subpoenas for information.
  • Business Transfers: If LegalPro+ undertakes or is involved in any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or insolvency event, then we may sell, transfer, or share some or all of our assets, including information related to customers in connection with the transaction or in contemplation of the transaction (such as conducting due diligence). If such an event occurs, your information may be treated like any other LegalPro+ asset and sold, transferred, or shared with third parties, or used in ways not contemplated or permitted under this Privacy Policy. In this case, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

 

Article 7: How We Disclose Personal Information

In this section of the Privacy Policy, we explain to whom we disclose personal information and under what circumstances we may make a disclosure.

 

  • Service Providers: We may share personal information with our service providers who assist us with running our business. These companies are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any purpose other than providing services to LegalPro+ or to you.
  • Businesses Providing Services: LegalPro+ may disclose personal information with other businesses to provide you with products and services. Personal information disclosed to other businesses will be subject to those third parties’ privacy practices. For instance, we may use FedEx, the United States Postal Service, or other shipping providers to deliver physical products you have purchased. Similarly, we may use WorldPayAdyen, or Stripe for purposes of processing payments or providing identity verification services. In doing so, these processors may collect and process personal information for its uses, including improving its services and for fraud detection and prevention.
  • Professionals (including Attorneys, Notaries, Accountants, Translators, Paralegals, and relevant Experts): We may share personal information with Third Party Experts whose services can be accessed through products such as our legal plans and attorney-assisted products.
  • Business Partners: LegalPro+ may share personal information with business partners. When we share personal information with business partners, it will generally be subject to their privacy policy. We share information with business partners in the following circumstances:If you express interest in an offer presented to you either by LegalPro+ on behalf of a business partner or by a business partner on behalf of LegalPro+, you are directing LegalPro+ to provide information about you to that business partner. If you purchase a LegalPro+ product that is bundled with a product offered by one of our business partners, we will share information about you with that business partner.
  • Parties Related to You: We may provide information about you to someone you know or that you have connected with through our platform. For instance, we may provide information connected to your LegalPro+ account with your authorized contacts. We may provide information about you to a customer requesting that you sign a document, such as whether you have completed the signature process.
  • Government Entities: LegalPro+ may share information about customers with government entities to fulfill the products purchased by our customers. Certain personal information becomes public record when documents are filed with the federal or a state government, or with a court. For example, a corporation's name, business address, and registered agent name becomes public information when its articles of incorporation are filed. A Secretary of State may publish this information to its website or provide this information to third parties. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office publishes the names and addresses of trademark registrants. This Privacy Policy does not cover these or similar third-party actions.
  • Public Disclosures: LegalPro+ may publicly disclose personal information in limited circumstances. i) We may share information publicly when it is necessary to fulfill a product that has been purchased by a customer. For example, in some states, fictitious business names, including the name and address of the business owner, must be published in a newspaper; ii) We may display testimonials and reviews received through email surveys on our website or other marketing or that are posted to publicly available websites: iii) When you post content in any forum or comment area on our website, these posts may be publicly available. You should use caution when deciding whether to disclose your personal information in public areas of our website; and iv) When we collect publicly available information, we may share that information on our website.

Confirmation of Possession of Information Related to You. Upon a verified request, subject to the privacy interests of others and technical limitations, LegalPro+ will provide you with information about whether we hold any information related to you. At LegalPro+’s sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law, we may, in some instances, correct or delete information upon a verified request. Please note, however, that in certain circumstances, we may be required by law to retain your personal information or may need to retain your personal information to continue providing a product or service to you or another customer.

 

After you submit the request, you will be asked to verify your email address and may also be asked to provide additional information to verify your identity.

 

User and Authorized Contact Access to Order Information. LegalPro+ will give you, or anyone listed as an authorized contact for your account, information about your order. This may include information about the nature and status of your order, the information you provided to process your order, payment information, and contact information.  If you want someone to have access to your order, you must list them as an authorized contact, or they may not obtain such information. You can confirm who is listed as an authorized contact for your account, add new authorized contacts, or remove authorized contacts by clicking first on "My Account", and then on "Account Information." We may send a confirmation email to your authorized contact(s) alerting them that they have been added as an authorized contact.  For some products, we may provide information about your order to other individuals named in the order, such as executors named in a last will or additional named individuals in a trademark application.  For product-specific information about who may request information about your order, please contact Customer Care.

 

User Access to and Ability to Update Personal Information through MyAccount. You may visit your personal account profile at any time and through My Account, you may: (i) review and update basic information about yourself, (ii) complete pending orders, and (iii) begin new orders.

 

Opting Out of Promotional Email. You can opt-out of promotional emails by using the “Unsubscribe” link and following the unsubscribe instructions in an email you receive from us or by emailing us. We may also send service-related or transactional communications, which are not promotional. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications. If you do not wish to receive service-related communications, you may terminate your account by contacting us.

 

Article 11: LegalPro+’s Security and Identity Verification Practices

LegalPro+ is committed to protecting the personal information that we collect and ensuring our products and services are provided in a secure manner. We have implemented security measures designed to protect the personal information that we maintain. This includes implementing physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to secure the information we collect. We use industry-standard SSL/TLS to transmit payment card information. We also regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.

 

Regardless of the measures and efforts that LegalPro+ takes to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute protection and security of your personal information. For instance, when we transmit documents to you via mail delivery services or electronically, there remains the possibility that this information may be misdirected, misdelivered, or intercepted.

 

We encourage you to take precautions in protecting the information that you share with LegalPro+. For example, we encourage you to set strong passwords on your account and avoid sharing your password with anyone. Where available, we encourage, and may at times require, you to utilize multi-factor authentication to further ensure access to your account is restricted.

These rights are not absolute, and in some circumstances, LegalPro+ may decline to satisfy your request. For example, if we are unable to verify your identity or if your request impacts other people’s privacy rights, we may deny your request to exercise these rights. We may also deny your request when LegalPro+ has the legal right to do so, such as when we have an ongoing business relationship with you, an ongoing need to use the information for purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or we are legally required to retain your personal information. If LegalPro+ denies your request to exercise your privacy rights, we will tell you why we are denying the request and provide you with information about how to appeal this decision.

 

If you choose to exercise your privacy rights, we will not charge you different prices or provide a different quality of services unless those differences are related to your personal information.

How to Submit a Request for Access, Correction, or Deletion of Personal Information

If you would like to submit a request about your personal information, we encourage you to do so by completing the Privacy form. You can also submit a request by emailing and/or by calling our toll-free number. After you submit the request, you will be asked to verify your email address and may also be asked to provide additional information to verify your identity. LegalPro+ will attempt to verify your identity by asking for information that correlates with the information that we have previously collected about you.  If this is not possible, LegalPro+ may request you submit additional information for verification, such as proof of residency or redacted government-issued identification.

 

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To designate an authorized agent, you must provide LegalPro+ with written permission for the agent to make the request on your behalf or provide us with an executed power of attorney. You will also be required to submit both your and the authorized agent’s valid government-issued identification.

How to Appeal a Denial of a Request for Access, Correction, or Deletion of Personal Information

If LegalPro+ denies your request about your personal information, you may submit an appeal of the decision by completing the privacy form. After you submit the request, you will be asked to verify your email address. Once an appeal is submitted and your email is verified, the request and LegalPro+’s response will be reviewed. In connection with this review, LegalPro+ may request that you submit additional information regarding your request. We will notify you of the outcome of the appeal within 60 days.

 

Article 13: Selling, Sharing, and Use of Personal Information for Targeted Advertising

LegalPro+ does not currently sell personal information to third parties. If in the future LegalPro+ does decide to sell personal information, any personal information collected prior to our update of this Privacy Policy will be excluded from such sale unless you otherwise consent to that additional use of the data.

 

LegalPro+ does engage in online marketing activities, including activities that may involve us sharing your information for purposes of showing you targeted advertising.
